New Hope Ethiopia is the public name of Ye Ethiopia Addis Tesfa Charity Organization. We work with women and families in Addis Ababa, bringing practical care and the hope of Jesus into everyday life.
OUR PURPOSE
Women able to care for themselves—and others.
Our mission is to help women and children grow in confidence, develop skills, and build a more stable life. We want families to have the support to care for one another and contribute to their communities.
WHY WE DO THIS
The hope of Jesus. The work of care.
Our Christian faith is central to our work. We share the Gospel and Bible stories of hope and forgiveness alongside practical support. We care about women’s spiritual lives, their well-being, and the needs of their families.
SEPTEMBER 2024–FEBRUARY 2025
Relationships before results.
Our September 2024–February 2025 report begins with home visits and the selection of 20 single mothers. It describes time spent building relationships, life-skills and beadwork training, meals, food and hygiene supplies, and help with health insurance.
These are activities from that earlier program. Today, our sewing stories and one-year program plan show the work taking shape next.
LOOKING AHEAD
Learning that reaches beyond the classroom.
The one-year plan connects sewing lessons with emotional support, life skills, nutrition, and help for participants’ children. Our hope is that women can use what they learn to care for their families and, in time, help others.
